Before the biography:

Born in Quincy, Illinois, I started martial arts at the age of 4 and trained in many different disciplines. In 2018, I introduced my son to Gracie Barra and immediately fell in love with the programs. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be a part of Gracie Barra and help bring those same opportunities to my hometown.

As a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I believe BJJ is a tool for self development. It gives the opportunity to safely face challenges and work through them with encouraging teammates. It connects many people from many walks of life and promotes teamwork.

Outside of the academy, I enjoy watching UFC, movies, gardening, and listening to podcasts.
